Wink Faust - Car Carrier Ship Operation Documentary

For those who are eagerly awaiting for their Porsche !

While all Porsche cars bound for US will depart from Emden rather than Bremerhaven, their operation is about the same. In fact, the BMW in Faust's haul were from Bremerhaven. Enjoy !

Great video...thanks. Beats the pants off the way they use to put the cars on the ships, with hooks. Years ago it was possible to have all four wheel wells pulled out slightly because they would hoist the cars onto the ship with a crane and hooks that attached at each wheel well.

Glad you enjoyed the video. This is very close if not exactly how your car will travel from Emden to US. Perhaps both of our cars are build in June. Yet, there are two difference, 1) They ship Porsche to Hong Kong by container and out of Hamburg. 2) Local dealer refused to provide any build info, let alone shipping. They only tell me that it is a June production. Cheers !
