Love the car! What a great combination you don't see every day. It works great. The wood, too, is understated and, again, sets it apart.
I would love to own this car. Great find!

Could Swear that on the TV Show Chasing Classic Cars Wayne Carini had a 356 Speedster Four Cammer that was that color. The the show will rerun soon but I could swear it is that color!

I am going to go on a limb here and say it's 'Aquamarine' (Non-Metallic). See last photo where the two colors are shown on different 356's (although you can barely see the 'Meissen' at the top left!).

First time reading this post--I always admired your car in your sig. Very nice and unique.
And for all the poo-pooing on the wood, I quite like it and think it goes great with the interior.
I wouldn't have thought I'd say that, but after seeing it, I think it looks great and has the vintage look the builder was going for. Nice job! Now go thrash that beast!

Tacet: I don't think so. Although Wayne's car was somewhat 'restored' before his acquisition, I doubt the owner would have painted it a MY1960 color (Aetna/Etna) rather than the two blues original to his MY1958 car - 'Meissen' or 'Aquamarine'. Most of us didn't change the color of fairly rare 356's. And this MY1958 GS/GT is pretty special.
