Totally subjective...when does your car run best?

There's the old adage that cars run best when clean with a full tank of gas...
I've felt like my various P cars each had slightly different peak performance days - you know the feeling, when it just seems to be running smoother, quicker, tighter. Don't know how much science there is behind it, or how much it's just a combination of driver's mood, or a total head game. Anyways...
My 964 C4S and 993 TT both seemed to run best with temperatures in the low to mid 60s, and higher humidity (for Colorado anyway) of 30-40%. The Turbo really seemed to like the rain too.
My 997.1 and 997.2 C4S cars liked it a little warmer and drier...low 70s and low humidity.
Had one of those magical days in my 991 C4S last week...80 degrees and very low humidity, around 10%.
Anyone else feel like their car has those "special" days form time to time?

I certainly seem to have days when the Porsches (either one) seem to run better. Seems to tie to my mood and the weather though. Also, I'm certain a clean car is faster!
