Default Goodbye Black; Hello White 991S

I finally threw in the towel trying to keep up with cleaning the black car, which I brought home in December (I really didn't realize what I'd gotten myself into until April when I started taking the car out).

After a great deal of frustration, I finally decided to trade it in for a brand new white 991S.

The first dealer I visited (Jack Daniels) really took the wind out of my sails, as they immediately tried to rake me over the coals (the black car is a 2013 with 1640 miles on the clock and is in the same condition as the day I brought it home).

Anthony Rassouli from Paul Miller finally came to my rescue: he had the exact car in white, save for a few extra options, and made me a really sweet deal.

He delivered the new car to my home and we completed the entire transaction in my driveway. He also found a good home for the black car and all is now well in my world.

Glad you were able to make the switch and are happy!

Just to keep you up at night...You do know that the white car will actually be just as dirty, you just won't notice it as much (but you'll know it's there) mwuahahahahaha

.......sorry, the devil made me say it!

IMHO, a 911 looks best in white.

Have a 2013 911s Cab in white. Have always been a dark colored car guy, but the 911 in white sure turns some heads while you're driving. It's really stunning. And though it won't show as much of the paint imperfections (swirl marks), it still needs a good amount of TLC. After each wash I use Adams Quick Detail for a once over the entire car. Really extends the life of the wax.

Oh, and also got mine from Paul Miller. Have been a long time customer of his BMW store (great service Dep't). And find the same level of quality with the Porsche store. Paul Gavel is a really solid guy to do business with IMO.

Gorgeous... and that glass sunroof with the black contrast is awesome, I'm starting to regret leaving it off (but I don't really like sunroofs)

I think I need to find a black wrap or something...

Black is not a color, it's a hobby.

White, well, less of a hobby. Rejex that sucker and drive on, brother. We offer Rejex if you need it. Good luck and enjoy the white beast!

Default 911 Clean Colors

Can anyone with Agate Grey comment on how easy or difficult it is to keep clean looking after rains etc...?

Agate Grey hides a lot of the dirt and grime really well, in my humble opinion. After days of driving it in the rain it still looks pretty good until you get up really close.

With my Meteor Grey Metallic 911 (close the Agate) I have always been happy with how easy it has been to take care of and how I can go relatively long periods between washings if I have to.

Personally, I think a dark grey is the perfect color.
