I'm not sure if the rules are different for the 911_50 versus the regular Carrera, but my steering column casing is getting deviating stitching and the cost is $80 (for the stitching).

Thank you I just got that confirmation from my salesman too, after I send him a mail that I wanted to cancel XNS. Alltough they ask Sfr. 90 which is about $100 I will take it.
He did pointed that out, but I guess I misunderstood it and didn't confirm that I wanted it when I was there. I thought it was standard in deviated stitching which it should be IMO because all the rest is in deviated stitching on that car. Apparently they think about that in another way at Porsche.
In the end, I'm happy that it was brought up here at the forum.

For certainty I'm going to doublecheck everything again.

Thanx

For what it's worth, when I chose to add the full dash board leather option for $1710, Melissa Wytek was kind enough to throw in all the stitching on the dash to match all the other deviated stitching I had already ordered. Considering that I had already opted for over $4500 just in stitching, the least they could do is throw me a bone!

If I ordered a light interior, I am getting myself a magic marker to save $$

Thank god it came standard in my black/beige.

To a very limited degree it did. My options included steering wheel, seats, armrests, middle of doors, and top of dash around vents and such.
