Very different results in the other Porsche forum. We simply need a larger sample to figure out what the ranking of color popularity. Silver ranks pretty low in this forum and is highest in the other.

Dark Blue Metallic - love it!
Was very close to black until I saw a few cars at the dealership prior to their morning bath.

Looking at the listings on Autotrader.com and on CarGuru.com for 911's from 2006 to 2014 (just to keep it somewhat current), the most popular colors are Black, Silver, and White, in that order.
