Air intake grill.
While washing and drying my car I noticed that the wire mesh grill on the accordion rubber air intake is loose.Should it have something holding it down?

I've realized the same thing when I had the fans out to get at the oil filter. It just sits in there and is held in place by the natural tension of the rubber. Nothing to worry about I think.
