Anyone that has sunroof in glass....would you mind posting a few pics both closed and open? I have an 09 Targa 4s and am curious how different this opening and look is from mine
Thanks

Don't have an Open shot of my glass roof, but I took this picture of the steel roof to convince myself that the glass was the better option. Terribly small opening, why bother. Instead, imagine that what is Savannah Beige is instead glass. Get the idea?

thanks TT, i appreciate the input. I LOVE my targa but am looking at an upgrade and want to have a similar feel. The glass is clearly the way to go

I have the glass sunroof, no great pics of it though. Highly recommended, the light inside the cabin is great and I know where you are coming from with the targa. Its a good compromise or wait for the 991 targa.

thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. the early consensus (spy photos) is the 991 targa is going to be some type of retro removable section which does not interest me at all. Sounds like the coupe with a glass roof is the way to go

I drove a demo car with the glass roof and decided to keep this option out of my future order.
I could feel the sun hitting right into my head even with the sun shade closed.
Not very well engineered imo.

I had Huper Optik IR blocker installed on the glass s/r--actually, on all the glass surfaces--so that I can keep the shade retracted on all but the sunniest/hottest days. When the shade is required, there's no prob with the small amount of light shining through the shade. OTOH, the sun might not be as intense in socal as in brasil![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
