I love mine, but I also think it depends on what you are wearing. Probably cotton works best. I know my lime green vinyl leisure suit is too much for them.

What is working? The seat or the no pants part?

With no pants on in a 991S, you're definitely gonna feel a lot.

On a second thought, I figured I shouldn't try with no pants... Not knowing what type of cold to expect, I didn't want to risk it - as I remember my childhood, had my tongue stuck on an outdoor lamp post in the midst of a harsh Canadian winter. I really don't want any part of me being stuck on a frozen seat

As a urologist, I am all for letting your boys breath but no pants is bit too much.

MDKRP, maybe you should start a group buy on VIAGRA.

Where do you practice?

I do feel them at the max setting, but it definitely depends on the type of clothing that you're wearing. Light cotton clothing works best, and of course you should probably have the A/C on for best effect.

Medium setting I don't feel as much, and the lowest setting is probably more of a placebo effect that anything. Of course, it hasn't been scorching hot yet so I've been wearing relatively thick clothing so far. We'll see how it is once it gets hotter and I'm wearing thinner clothing.

That helmet will provide hurt-locker level protection. Just hope that's not a 991 burning to the ground in the background.

Do any of you guys hear an odd sound when your seats are on? Like a finger on a wet wine glass rim in an oscillating frequency fashion.

No. But I can't hear anything through this helmet.
