Ha! I'm finding myself dealing with this. My 991 will be here soon, and I just refinished my garage in anticipation. I look at my older 1986 911 and how little space there is in front and behind it in the garage. Add on another 8 inches in length? Uh oh.

Time to tear down a wall. I think it's the only valid option. I'm sure the wife will agree.

The next project after this car will likely be a second, detached garage + in-law unit above it. Current garage fits three cars (2001 M5, minivan, and soon this 911). If and when I get room for another 2-3, my wife will have a hard time holding me back.
