Absolutely, it was one of my top required options. I also have a white S. It makes the interior feel airy, almost convertible like. I love it!

The only disadvantage is the extra weight. So if you don't obsess about every lb, order it.

I have it and it's great. Some people have complained about rattles and squeaks but I haven't noticed any in mine (knock on wood).

It's a very large sunroof and definitely makes the interior feel more "open." It doesn't open all the way, but it's sufficient.

I've got an order in on 991 C2S in white with the glass sunroof. I'm currently driving a convertible and figured (hoped) that the glass roof would be an acceptable compromise between a convertible and coupe. I also really like the color combo.

Not if you live in a hot climate. I live in S FL and hate the glass sunroof on my wife's MB e350 wagon. Even with the sunshade, it just allows the heat to penetrate.

If I had it to do over again, I would have ordered my white 991c2s without a sunroof for several reasons.. It's too small when open, I never use it and it would look better without one anyway. Plus, it would save a little bit of roof high weight.

I owned an 87, 89 and 95 911. Each with a sunroof or Targa top. I rarely opened any. I just bought a 991 without a sunroof. I do not miss it. Perhaps folks should think about large savings in exchange for minimal pleasure. If you want massive open air pleasure, buy a cabriolet! The alternative is insignificant.

The last car I had that had a sunroof that I opened was a 1964 bug I had in college. I've had many cars that had them since then but rarely open them. I opened the sunroof on my 993tt only once to confirm that it worked. Then again I always seem to have a cab and some motorcycles....real fresh air.....Chris

My 911 is the first car I've bought without a sunroof in over 20 years. I rarely opened them in my other cars and I hated the sun and heat coming through the louvered shade in some of them. Best thing is I don't have the annoying rattle that some have coming from their sunroofs.

If you are after the contrast look skip the sunroof and wrap the roof for $200 or even less.
