Default OMG--Cheesesteak Hoagie

I feel the need; the need for cheesesteak. Thinking about a pack of 991s running up to Tony Luke's in Philly. Possible start time is 10 AM, this Saturday from McLean, VA on a non-disclosed route that may be influenced by drivers, who will to join up. This craving must be satisfied!

If you put cheese whizz on it, do not come. Tourist.

whizz is where it's at... melted plastic is key to a good steak.

As much as I'd like to hook up with other 991 owners in NoVA, that's a bit of a hike for lunch...

I would do that in a heart beat if I lived in the area.

Can't make it this weekend, but I would be interested in a run up to Philly to take in a demo day at the Simeon collection <http://simeonemuseum.org/events> and a steak sometime.

Tony Luke's is good but I still prefer Pat's and Jim's.

Jim and Pat's are for tourists. Any neighborhood hoagie joint in south Jersey or on the west side of City Line Ave tastes better. Tony Luke's is a real joint but lately I think I saw a thread on another forum that may ruin the place with tourists are their cheese whizz eating habits. Nasty.

Tony's was closed for painting when we arrived. Had to execute Plan B, which proved flawless.

John's Roast Pork is supposed to be the best in town. Might have to drive down tomorrow to see how good they are.
