Thanks so much Eduardo. I was starting to worry about the color. Was scared it would be a blue /silver sort of like moonstone silver that they had on m3's that I didn't like. The pics look more like a dark silver which I like.
I believe this is the new color recently seen on a 991 turbo. Does not look like GT so by default assuming it is the new color.
Yes, it is possible! I think that the speculation re: the color seen on those pre-series production gt3's at Auto Gestop as 'Rhodium' on the 991 gt3 forum (photos I posted above) might be wrong! That darker grey is not really a 'silver'! And the 918 Brochure shows that color by name and it is represented there as a much lighter color silver! You can judge for yourself below. What is throwing people a curve is the color's representation on the 'configurator', which shows a darker shade of 'silver' which is what has fueled the speculation.
Wouldn't put it past Porsche to not offer a most popular standard metallic light silver forcing people to pony up the extra $ for GT or PTS!
(never was a fan of the beige tone in Platinum anyway)
Head down to your nearest Jaguar dealer to check it out. Unless by some bizarre coincidence both Porsche and Jaguar are calling different shades of silver 'Rhodium'.
