Default 991.2

Anyone have any thoughts on when the mid model refresh will occur and what we will be seeing?

Typically, 3 full model years. So current 991 for 2nd half of 2012, plus 2013, 14 & 15. Then 991.2 for 2016.

Historically, few mechanical changes. Maybe a bump of 15 HP. Mostly light cosmetic changes to headlight & taillights profiles and front/rear valances. Maybe a new wheel, new tail pipes.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. Turbo and GT3 etc. are usually a year behind.

996 was partial 1998-2001 with refresh in MY2002, 997 was 2005-2008 with refresh in MY2009. Both about 4 years out so likely the 991.2 will be MY2016, although with all of the competition on the horizon (2014 Audi R8, Jag F-type, Mercedes SLC, Acura NSX, etc) Porsche might push it forward a year.
Regardless, don't be waiting around for it - you need one right now!
