No sports chrono only regret I have
(Dealer took 17k off car) couldn't pass up

I dont know how much I'm missing out on
But
Not having it agrovates me

997 and panamera. Have retrofit

Anyone have info for 991?

I have not heard about anything after market and suspect it is not feasible. The only time I use mine is on the track, so if you track your car you might miss it some. Otherwise just enjoy the $17k.

Launch control question.
If I hold gas n brake. I get to 4500 or 5000 rpm (I don't remember)
Then I let go of brake. Thats my launch control

With sports chrono how many rpms does it go to?

i believe it is redline-500 rpm

I think 6500 and it lets out with a bang! Shifts are also much more aggressive.

Did you ask the dealer if they could do a software upgrade? I think I read it was possible somewhere.

I got a similar deal, but mine had Sports Chrono. I wouldn't have missed it if it weren't there. Mine is a manual, though.
