Default TP Setting?

Does anyone know what this is? It's on the Bose system, when I go to sound, then to options, on the top (above guidance volume, etc). I don't know what it is and cannot find it in the manual.

Traffic program

Various FM radio stations broadcast traffic messages in addition to their radio program.
The broadcasting stations are responsible for the quality of these traffic messages. For that reason, no liability can be accepted for the completeness and correctness of the information.

Traffic messages are part of the RBDS signals and are not available everywhere. To find out more, please refer to the sections "Switching RBDS on and off".

Turning the traffic program on

Keep pressing the button until FM is highlighted.
Press the button or touch the tab of the same name in the header.
Select "Traffic prog." to switch the function on ( ) or off ( ) .
When the traffic program is switched on, you will hear the traffic messages regardless of the audio source playing at the time.

Just pray your car is never possessed by a Porsche Poltergeist - if it is, you'll discover that this forum is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
