Well, its time to replace the brake pads for a second time (about 3,900 miles and a bunch of track days). I was wondering if anybody knew why the rear brake pads cost more than the front even though they are significantly smaller.

The fronts are $164 and the rears are $200 at Suncoast. The complete set of pads for both axles and caliper bolt sets was $424 including shipping and I have always had good luck with the Suncoast folks.

As a note, the exact same set of pads and bolts was $624 at my local dealer and they wanted another $250 for the brake pad sensors they were sure needed to be replaced at the same time.
