Default Has anyone replaced the stock H3 bulbs below the HID head lights?

I noticed these H3 bulbs only come on when high beam is in use. They are the standard type halogen bulbs.
I was wondering, has anyone replaced these with 5000k or 6000k "white" bulbs?

Just curious, a bit bored...

Thanks

Pretty sure they only come on with "flash to pass" - the xenons are so bright no assistance is needed, guess those halogen bulbs should last a long time!

The H3 lights do turn on when the high beams are continuously on (lever pushed forward).

Not sure if they light up for "flash to pass" (lever pulled to the aft, toward the driver).

Just want to find out if anyone has changed them, wondering if it is a can of worms or a relatively simple task...

Thanks,
