Default back ceramic tips

I don't have the correct torque wrench or whatever tool is needed to get the bolt off the oem exhaust tips..hehe. Gotta hit the store tonight. Black tips are from Fabspeed.

(the electric screwdriver is not able to remove exhaust tip screw, hehe sigh)

Those look nice. Maybe you could have removed your OEM existing tips, and sent them to FD Motorsports, and they could have ceramic powder coated them for you in black velvet. Just a thought. Probably $120ish.

I keep all oem parts so I can return car to stock un-modified state if desired for Porsche CPO trade etc I bought these at the same time as the Fabspeed Maxflo mufflers we installed a few weeks ago (those are doing great btw with the PSE! It's heaven hehe)

Now to just find the right socket or something hmmm

Nicoli, will you ever stop finding cool new things to do to your car? Thanks for sharing!

I get my car out of storage tomorrow, and the clear tail lights are going right on. Will post pics when I get them.

Thumbs up

All set!! - Just had to get the proper socket set w/turner and a separate combination socket wrench in the same gauge as the bolts. Amazing how things can turn around with the proper tools.

(The shiny broken bolt is Fabspeed's and I need to email them to ask for a replacement. I currently have both Porsche and Fabspeed tip bolts on the car

Sorry, maybe i missed above, but Where did you get those? I have Agate 991s, i think it could fit nicely? Does it change the sound or looks only?

Hi, they are from Fabspeed. I think they'd look great on Agate! I think they are mostly cosmetic, but possibly could enhance the reverberation of sound out the back..I honestly don't know. I feel like they do a little, but it might just be in my head yaknow.

After seeing some others try plasti-dip on their cars, I am now at this moment in the second coat of Plasti-Dip on the rear Porsche emblem so it will match the tips, Vorsteiner carbon fiber rear spoiler, and the cabrio top...

Nicoli those tips look fantastic - do you happen to have a link for them?

I was poking around on fabspeed site and didn't see them...

Many thanks!

Hi! Thanks! You might have to call them

I'm waiting on metal drilling bits to install some SRP racing pedals:

I had a similar reaction. I found a place that will ceramic coat my stock tips. unfortunately the company isn't local, so my wife and i are heading to Europe in a couple of weeks for our anniversary and im going to have them dome while im away.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Usually don't care for non-stock items, but this one is different. Might be perfect for agate 991s. So there is something new under the sun.
