Default Climate LCD

In this cold weather, the climate control LCD is sluggish (expected) but sometimes is missing segments altogether. All is good once warmed up.
Normal behavior or warranty issue cause I doubt it will improve with age?

Funny you mention that. I just noticed this effect today. I'm sure it's normal

IIRC that's a normal behavior for LCD displays. The (liquid) crystals are sluggish when cold.

Good morning,

I've been seeing this LED phenomenon for sometime and did a search to find this thread.

Is others having this as well or is it something that needs to be addressed?

It's happening not even in what I would say cold weather.

Thanks.

I spent three winters in North Dakota with an LCD radio. The display barely worked and was sluggish until the interior warmed up. The cassette player would sound like Satan music as well. Cold=No good, but I doubt there is anything wrong.

I have the same think in my '13 and was going to bring it up at next service. My Macan does not have the issue.
