vanity license plates are insanely lame.

just stick with what the state gives you.

+1000%...plus, it just makes it easier to allow anyone that is annoyed, that you sped past, cut off, etc., an easier way to ID and scratch your car. To me, not worth the risk

[QUOTE=chuck911;10244379 MUADDIB or NCC-1701 than know every teen and trucker is tittering over topless.[/QUOTE]

Every time I see MUADDIB, I can only think of that God-awful movie instead of the books. Yuk. Ironic that Patrick Stewart went on to Nex Gen after that ham handed wreck...
Sorry, don't have any cool plate ideas either.

Not a big fan of personalized plates either for several reasons but I've decided to get them for my new car. Here in CA the format on DMV issued plates is a number followed by three letters followed by three numbers. I'm opting for a plate that has a number followed by three letters that mean something to me (in my case the first initials of my three dogs) followed by three numbers specific to the car. Probably will do 991. So this plate will look non-personalized to others but have meaning to me.

Yuck. OPEN AIR yeah no kidding its a Cab. EXLENCE is better. The best ones I think are the ones that reflect more on the driver than the car. The X-ray/CT tech with ICBONES, not my fave but you get the idea. Like the car itself, a personalized plate should reflect the personality and interests of the owner. Think along those lines and something in your life is bound to resonate. And, don't limit yourself to English. The Olympic motto swifter, higher, stronger is from the Latin citius, altius, fortius. CITIUS, swifter, fits. In spades. Likewise, PANACHE. Lots of good possibilities out there.
I had the plate "Panache" on a 1979 928 (New York registration)
