I had the full leather interior option in Natural Brown Leather in my 996 C4S. I loved it. That said, there was definitely a slight orange hue to it when compared to Cognac, which I now have in my 991. NBL darkens with age, but that subtle hint of orange doesn’t go away.

I have a Natural Brown sample, and took these pictures below in various lighting conditions.
Looks like they definitely changed from 997 Natural Brown, but as you can see the shade is 100% dependent upon lighting.
The first and second-to-last pictures are most representative of how it actually looks in most lights.

LTS is not available on a GT3 touring except for via CXX (at $30k and up as opposed to $5600 in a normal 911).

Ascot brown is cool.

I know. Stupid money. Ascot is lovely but too red for my taste.

Have you laid your hands on a recent leather to sample list? I think the most recent public is 2015. I assume you saw the thread on LTS I started a while back? The 30k plus and no wood trim available turned me off to it when my C2 order turned into a GT3T. (It was bad enough on the C2 with like $12k in interior upgrades). I am still half tempted to go back to the original plan which was to order the C2 and swap the interiors between the two cars so I could get black natural leather and wood trim. Ideally, a dark green natural leather would be amazing with my touring since I got PTS in second choice green approved on it.

have you seen the Club leather interiors available on Panamera? Cohiba might be an option (if it is LTS approved).

^^^Using list posted in your thread or related LTS thread. No updated list to my knowledge. Also, Cohiba would be an excellent option but my focus was solely on natural leathers, and I didn't think Cohiba fit the bill.

I don’t think it is natural (neither is ascot brown), but having seen it, it is pretty nice and worth considering. I know exclusive has books of the various available leather and I believe there are many more than on the list. I have seen them in pictures. If I get a speedster allocation, I will go visit Yana and flip through them. There is such a huge variation in the types of leather available now and so much of the experience of leather is tactile and smell, it is probably worth it to see in person.

Ascot appears to be a 'natural' leather. I had a sample, and on the back it stated so. So either the sample is wrong or the dated LTS list is wrong. After looking at it for a while, I believe the list is wrong. Plus they likely used the highest quality leather in the CGT.

Yes. Smell is my favorite part about leather. Oddly enough, I have a non-leather interior in my GT3 and I don't miss the extra leather one bit except for the smell. And I'm sure that I could fix that in a jiffy by putting some leather goods in that cavernous and empty space out back.

Interesting re: ascot. I have seen it in person, but the texture made me think it was not natural, but again that word can have different meanings.

funny about the rubber dash. After all my LTS effort, I went with the base interior on my GT3T because I do not care for the stock Porsche leather.

Default Natural Brown vs. Cognac

Here’s a picture of Natural Brown and Cognac that I took recently (indirect sunlight in my car).

On a separate note... seems that the Natural Brown hide used by Porsche has NOT changed over the years. I’ve received this info from two ‘credible’ sources. Of course, they could both be wrong but unlikely.

NB just a couple shades darker than Cognac. Perhaps just enough to add a touch more warmth and richness.

I had NB in my dark blue 997.1. It definitely has an orange tint. The new Cohiba reminds me of it somewhat.

I was going to pair black with natural brown leather and copy the new Speedster concept... but ultimately decided that I wanted a darker cabin.
