Thinking about this combination. Thoughts?

Some pics I have seen look good but others not so much. Anyone here have this combo?

To me they looked good at the dealer and I almost ordered them. I decided for the regular ones though since they gave a better contrast and more "pop" with the black. Hey, with black you can't go wrong either way.

I think platimum Carrera Classic wheels look particularly good with black. Also they would show less brake dust.

Personally I'd pass. Imo that trend passed about a year ago. A buddy had an E63 back in '06 black with custom painted HRE's that were black with chrome lip and it was sick. Now, it's played out. But that's just me.

I believe the platinum is dark greyish look, not black like the above. looks good IMO

I've seen the DBM with the satin platinum wheels and it looked really good!

I think they're the best wheel option and they look awesome on almost any color.

platinum wheels on black is a great look. not feeling the black wheels (and never liked them on the GTS's either).

I have the Platinum finished wheels on my Guards Red 991. They look incredible. The best 991 wheel option by far - and almost reasonably priced (by Porsche standards).

Thanks, I like those better. The SportsTechno ones painted with some black are my favorites overall. Platinums are nice but I like the contrast with the standard wheels better.
