This is not correct. The import duty on a Porsche is 6.1% in Canada and 2.9% in the US. This does not compute when the car is about 20% more in Canada. My 991S X51 Cab would list about $152k in the US and it lists (pre January price increase) at over $184k in Canada. This is 21.05% more in Canada assuming the $ is around Par.

You call 1-800-Porsche and select Option 5. Have your VIN ready. Apparantly members of PCA get $10 off. Costs around $100 and is a great item to have on the windshield when displaying your car at a Show N Shine or something similar.
