Surprise from Porsche
 

Came into the office today and found a package waiting for me. Inside was a nice letter from Porsche with this plaque. The plaque has my name and my new cars vin number on it. Is this a standard gift from Porsche?

Stuart, That is really cool!! I did not receive one of those. Wish I did. Who knows? Maybe it's on the way. When did you take delivery of your car?

They guys at the dealer called it a "pylon". Received two: one for my GTS and now the 991.

I ordered it. I did get a certificate of authenticity with my VIN Number.

The pylons arrived a month or two after purchase. Also received a certificate of authenticity for both cars.

I got mine yesterday :). Took delivery on the 14th Jan.

all i got was a pen and a Good to Know CD :(

I am guessing that these gifts are for non-US cars.

Yah. Got my car 5 months ago...no fun gift.

Didn't your car get invited to the factory galas at the dealership? Mine returned several times for "campaigns" and apparently had a good time while there. But at this point I don't need any more surprises.

We ordered ours and all we got was the letter of authenticity with my name spelled incorrectly on it. Thanks for the attention to details Porch...there, now we're even lol

Got this with the car, nice "feel good" gesture...
Two fancy champagne glasses (no champagne though...) and a sun shield for the car where added as well.
