Are these used, demos or new? How many miles on them, if used/demos? I would go for the S without hesitation.

Option 1:
2012
Base 991 Cab
400 miles
PDK, Sports Chrono, heated seats, 14-way seats, BOSE, multifunction wheel
MSRP 112k
$91,000.00

Option 2:
2012
991 S Cab
3500 miles
PDK, Sports Chrono, Sports Exhaust, 18 way seats, PDCC, 5mm spacers, ventilated and heat seats, BOSE, sportdesign steering wheel
MSRP $132k
$106,000.00

What do you think? It is basically a $15,000 difference. I wanted to keep the price under $100,000 but am tempted to get that S, even though the base 991 has the two main options I wanted (PDK and Sports Chrono).

Do you plan on driving them in manual mode or just leaving them in auto?
The S has the sport steering wheel with proper paddles to change gears, and not the fiddly buttons which I found confusing.
I'd go with the S, 50 more horses and you'll never say..."I should have gone for the S".

Option 2! You brought a 132k price down to 109k?? That's a crazy good deal. Is this new or lightly used?

Go for the S cab. I have the same spec car and love all of the options on the car...I believe they made launch cars with the same spec. I found the car on the lot and bought it as I would have ordered a car the same way & I got a good discount without waiting for it. When it's time to sell, you should be getting back some of the 15k difference.... Just my opinion.

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention the 991 base is Racing Yellow and new. The S is black and used. My last edit didn't save I guess. Thanks ipad...

I really want yellow and they have agreed to switch out the wheels to the ones I want. If that used S were yellow than I would get it but have decided to go with the yellow C2. I figure it's new and a good deal so am buying. . There are not too many yellow ones out there and a new yellow S would cost way too much compared to this deal. With the money saved I may add Sports Exhaust.

Thanks for the comments. Looking forward to taking delivery of this Racing Yellow 991! Anyone recommend a good shipping company?

If anyone wants that black S at a good price let me know!

Now that is a good reason. I'll bet you just asked us to see if you were overlooking anything. I'd have picked the yellow one myself.

Clearly you deserve PSE. Have the dealer do it so you don't miss a burble or a pop!
