Default Hello Everyone!

It's great to back in the Porsche camp after a twenty-five year absence. I just couldn't believe it when the 991 project actually came to fruition, and after my first test drive, I got rid of my 2009 ZO6 and six-month-old Hemi Challenger to make room for my new Guards red 991 with PDK.

But I never did get that car; during a visit to the dealership, I was mesmerized by a car that just had rolled off a delivery truck. It was simply a case of, "Who do I need to kill to get this car?"

Anyway, the car is now sleeping in my garage, and I'm delighted to be here with you guys & gals!

Congratulations, your car looks fantastic! If it's any consolation, I should have my C2 in Guards Red with MT showing up in the next 10-14 days.

What I love is the current set of Porsche model options - a Cayman doesn't have rear seats and is a bit small for me, Panamera only has 4 seats, no interest in another SUV... The obvious solution was to get the "family-friendly" 991 because I'm a family guy! Which, I have to say, is by far the best option anyway as far as I'm concerned... Just so easy to justify to my wife this way.

(She knew it was inevitable - I got rid of my 944 13 years back when we started with the kids. No 911 in any way, but such a fun car... Soooo looking forward to getting back into a MT, and the 991 is a huge step up!)

Nice ride pete! Makes me wish I ordered mine with the aerokit, but I know I never could have waited for it. Just like you, I wanted mine right then and there!

Great looking car!
