Hard to be certain, because each is full of silver flake and pick up so much reflected light. I would say Platinum.

Platinum has a slightly "brighter/warm" bit of gold undertone; GT is slightly "deeper/cool" with a blue undertone. My RS-60 was GT and it stood out, my current 991 below is Platinum and looks equally good to me.

My guess is platinum silver, looks warmer than GT silver with no gray/blue undertones.

Look at platinum silver in person . After i did , i was surprised at how much of a gold undertone there was. For me at least made choosing the GT Silver an easy one..

Pretty sure that's not GT, which was on my 40th anniversary 996 - GT has a bit of black in it.

I think interior colors would determine it for me.

- Both work with black.

- Anything with brown tones would fit best with Platinum.

- Blues or grays, including the dark gray that was in my RS-60 , or white would work really well with GT. Red/GT would be a classy retro classic.

It's platinum. # of the Pcars i've owned have been GT, including my new S Cab. The platinum looks almost the same regardless of the light, while the GT changes with every change of light.

They both look nice. After a while I get colour blind. Sort of like shopping for diamonds. They all start to look the same. I have a silver/black 997 and plan to get the same combination on the 991. I fell in love with this combination when I was 10, so I don't intent to change. Also, no one at work will notice that I got a new car.

I agree. In direct sun light there is a lot of gold that both my wife and I disliked, so went with GT silver.

This is platinum silver.

Few months ago while placing an order, my 7 yrs old held both in the sunlight and I took a snapshot...attached. Right one is GT Silver and left one is Platinum Silver...I went with GT Silver.
