I don't even know what gets painted with that option.[/QUOTE]
Front spoiler, side mirror brackets, rear apron (all versus standard black plastic trim). Noticeable, but probably more noticeable on a non-black car.

Excellence published a review in the last month or so that reaches about the same conclusion. Practical option, but divisive among enthusiasts.

At the 991 release event last February, a suspension race tuner friend (Daytona winner and builder a lot of pro race cars) extolled its virtue as: sustaining a more consistently optimal contact patch by dynamically controlling suspension movement and the roll center- as tho he was there tuning the suspension on the fly. So I tested both.
In back to back (PDCC vs Sport PASM) driving under dealer drive test conditions (mostly rational speeds) the effect I could determine at normal speeds and loads was none at all- it was comfortable and invisible. Perhaps I was not driving fast enough to test the relatively little roll at reasonable speeds in any 991 and the even less amount in the stiffer sport suspension. I did not find it PDCC spooky or off putting at those speeds, but, I liked the feel of the PASM Sport MUCH more.
I may have given up several seconds of potential at Nurburgring.

That's very helpful, thank you. So, for everyday use, PDCC is probably not a wise option to take, considering the cost because it's only really visible when using the car at the limits - is that about right?

Just an interesting little tidbit that Sascha (the West coast Porsche consultant) told me about PDCC was that they found it actually made the tires wear more evenly, therefore necessitating a tire change less frequently. He said it's not something that Porsche officially promotes, but still was something they found as a nice side effect of the PDCC. Not sure if that's something that would influence your decision about it, but there you go.

I can't evaluate PDCC from a wisdom point of view. I just found find it insufficiently appealing to want to spend the money (or, in my case, not take an available car that I wanted).

I am very interested in the Leather Interior but don't want to increase price any further and can't think of anything to drop. I said I wouldn't get PSE but changed my mind and decided to get it instead of the leather. I'd love the powerkit, that's going to be great. I'm excited for your build, very different than mine for a similar price, nice choices. Hope you get a lot of fun out of it!
