I have a very similar build in mind. Same color combination, except I dropped the X51 power kit for PSE and SC. I will probably go for yellow dials (just to give me a little sporty look). Something to consider if you haven't is sunroof in glass.

Good taste mate!

That will be one scary car to follow down a winding road!

I can skip the sunroof. Sacrifices have to me made for the X51. I am even considering dropping the leather interior and premium package.

I think what full leather gives in the 991 is way too good to pass up.

I am going back and forth on this. Basically, I want full leather so I can have the dual color black/beige interior, it comes at a cost. The 991 I test drove, twice, had an all black standard interior with sport adaptive seats, I sat in it for a long time trying to decide if I wanted full leather or not. I think I could be happy with the standard interior because I think it is much nicer than the standard interior on a 997. But I do like the full leather, and I do want the black/beige interior as well, with some black floormats instead of the beige, I think it would look very nice. This car will be doing dual duty as a DD as well as a fun car which is another consideration favoring the full leather interior.

I think it will come down to how I feel on the day the order has to be finalized.

I think you are correct about the black/beige, it will look great. These cars cost so much now that it is almost crazy not to get the full leather, you have built a great car, might as well get everything you want.

I would suggest that you go back and run a hand over the stitching on the dash and side panel, but that would be unfairly biasing your decision, so I won't.

That is how my argument for getting it goes too...

Because I can't figure out how to edit the title, this is what I would change it to. I really do have better grammar than that.

I hear you and can sympathize. Having to make build decisions myself and keeping yourself in check is a real test.
