Yes, the tint is quite dark, much darker than the side windows. The glass panel is closer in color to the black panels to the front and back of it.

if only they did the panels in front of and behind the glass panel in body colour ..

Probably because that whole assembly including the panel behind the glass comes from another supplier and is integrated in manufacturing by porsche. The panel already has the glass like black finish and I would imagine it to be a mega undertaking to re-finish that panel after disassembling that assembly.

Yeah, but those panels are painted body color with the metal sunroofs. If the panels are the same size you would think they could be swapped...
