Thanks for the info. Your pics really have me leaning towards going with white instead of the plat silver. Just can't decide on interior color. Considering black, blue, and tan. Wondering if I go w/black and black gauges, will it be too much black?

The black on white cab is a great combination, gorgeous. I personally would like the white dials to give your cockpit some pop but I had all black in my 997 and it is nothing to sneeze at, in fact it is the most common interior choice. I waffled back and forth for weeks on color combo, I almost ordered aqua blue. Having had a few options coupe 997 and now a loaded S I can say you will love either and be excited for both BUT if you are keeping it for several years hold out to get all your "musts".

Good tip on the instrument color w/black interior. I do plan on keeping the car for 10+ years (my current BMW 530 I bought new in '02, 61,000 miles) so I am keeping in mind what the must haves are. Biggest problem I'm having is whether to go with the C2, keeping the 19 inch wheels and adding PASM and PSE or just get the C2S w/o PSE. Not a spirited driver (usually) and I don't have many curvy moutainous roads where I live. Having so many choices is a good thing, right?

The white on blue interior is stunning. Different, sporty, and very clean looking. Not generally a fan of appendages on a Porsche but the Design package on your white convertible is beautiful..........

Happy trails............;-)

It is a tough choice. Try to test drive each. I bet you would find you don't need PSE to be impressed with the engine sound. I know a lot of guys swear by it but I can't fathom my car any louder than it is with standard exhaust. Good luck with your choices! It would be very hard to be disappointed with any new 991, that's the good news.

I love the new white, much cleaner and sharper. The 991 is a fantastic car in almost everyway. But boy I'll tell ya, that R8 sitting next to the 991 with it's lower and wider stance looks absolutely stunning! I've never driven the R8, but to your earlier post, I guess it boils down to drivability and livability. The R8 is like Paris Hilton, while the 991 is like Kate Middleton.

I like the white / blue - if I order, that would be one of my choices for sure
