Unhappy Ventilated seats... very weak.

I ordered vented/heated seats with my 2013 991S Cabrio, but I have to say that I am little dissapointed with the ventilation system performance. I can barely feel any difference, specially with top down and hot weather. Have this happened to you?

Mine seem to work fine. I have them in a few other cars, including a convertible, and the performance seems about the same. I don't have a 991 cab so maybe it is the feeling you're getting in your warm climate.

Drive faster, maybe you'll feel a bigger breeze.

They are effective. I found that I had to turn down the fan rate as I was getting a backache or soreness in the back. What I do like these days are the seat and steering wheel heater. Then again, I'm almost 60.

I find that their effectiveness is inconsistent. Most of the time when I turn them on I can feel the coolness immediately; other times I can barely tell a difference. This was also true of my 997.2. I still would order them again.

LOL This morning I went to Cars N Coffee here, where its is necessary to arrive by 7:45 to get a decent spot. It was 32 when I arrived After a couple hours of shooting the bull and enjoying the cars (how about a Bently race car from the '30s, several Arial Atoms, many Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches, Jags,Mercs, Cobras, blower topped roadsers - short on Vettes due to big event in Philly).

I started to head home. Folks were warming up the oil, etc. I sat there warming up the steering wheel and seats and thinking the same thoughts!

Here is proof that still build em like they used to:

My bad- lot one fills by 6:45, lot 2 by 7:15. Google Katys Cars N Coffee and look at the image link at the bottom of the list- my car is there a few rows down. There are zillion pics so I did not provide the link in here! There were~!100 cars this morning, twice that in the summer.

it's suction, not air.... maybe you fit too well in the seat and block all the suction? try wearing something different.
