Buying a new 911s and dealer wants to sell me simonize treatment for $600. My understanding is that porsche does and excellent job with their paint job and there is no need for any additional protection. Any feedback would be appreciated.

+1. Don't waste your money. These paint treatments are a big profit maker for the dealer. Spend $150 instead on a good Porter Cable orbital polisher (or similar), do periodic waxing, and you'll be money ahead and get a better result.

For that much you you can do a gentle washing, occasional clay bar and wax coat when you get it and periodically for about 5 years. Just get the right stuff and use ample water or detailer so you don't scratch the surface of the clear coat and it cleans up to like new - easily.
And def get a clear bra!

On new paint, no need. Keep it clean, and consider Rejex on our order page.
Seal it up, buff it out, keep it shiny and slick. Works wonders.
