Hi, noticed in the pix of the rotors that his have ridges and valleys (ripples) like my front's. Any explanation for this condition? I've seen it on several 991's. I'm about to change the rotors and pads because of this wear pattern. My rears are smooth and flat.

On a related brake caliper/pad note... Does anyone know of a pad sensor defeat (jumper) for the 991? On my 997's folks sold these jumpers that plugged into where the sensor plug would go and tricked the car into thinking it wasn't unplugged. No biggie for factory pads but when running track pads the brake warning light was always illuminated as they don't have pad sensors.

Just curious if anyone has done this on the 991?

Just leave the sensor plugged and zip tie it out if the way. If they've already been worn just twist the two wires together to complete the circuit the zip them to the carrier.

I can confirm that you can simply cut the sensor part off the end (or just leave it attached like 008 recommends if its not reporting wear) and twist the wires together and cover/zip tie them so they don't short to ground. A completed circuit makes them appear to be "good". Worn-out brakes are indicated by an open circuit, with some degree of resistance remaining reporting the in-between state (the resistance varies down to nothing as they wear down).

To be honest, I haven't done this on the 991, but I'm 99.9% sure this is the same as when I had done it on my first C4. I've changed y 991 pads and the sensors appear to be the same design.
