As requested, some outdoor shots...in direct sunlight the platinum silver is very close to GT silver.

Another thought: If you want to have the sport chrono in a different colour, what about red with red seat belts and espresso carpets with red surround (and possibly even red centre instrument dial). That would look great and would work really well with the red brake calipers.

agree it does look very GT Silver like in direct sunlight! And splendid looking door mirrors and lower rear end painted silver.. Excellent decision!

Funny thing I was just thinking hard about the silver seat belts vs red today. Chrono/rev meter red along with the belts could be a nice touch. I've got few more weeks until order gets locked....lets see what it becomes by then

Hi Fester,

Good call on the additional leather package for the dashboard.

Don't hate me for this but i've had a change of heart on the steering casing column in leather. Having lived with the plactic casing, it is noticeable and if I was speccing another one, I would definitely add this...

Ozdave, I did have the steering column cover included before but in the graphic it looks like a leather sleeve being put on top of steering column and like an afterthought...so I removed it. I could add it right back in there had I seen it in reality..even a photograph would do.

If you've seen it somewhere please share some thoughts...and photograph would be ideal!!

It's more damage to the pocket but hey, I plan to keep it for a long time so it has to be perfect - thanks to you guys for helping me make it perfect

Consideration:

- deviated stitching in Silver...(not sure if it's really worth over $3K!)

XHS is expensive for some stitching as the parts are already in leather. you get no additional leather, only some stitching.

deviated stitching is expensive, and if you deviate to a light colour, may over time look inconsistent due to dirt accumulating on the high use areas (such as the driver's seat).

how about leather instrument surround? if you look closely at the dials, the plastic surround is a bit cheap.

standard galvano silver trim is plasticky and prone to smudging .. add some aluminium ..



center console can also be aluminium, but IMO, better in leather as you then keep metal bits at one level.

I would also select black instrument dials .. the center grey looks out of place, and trying too hard to be noticed.
