there is a SIM card slot just below the center display. Apparently it is possible to get the car with a phone built in? I tried taking the SIM card out of my phone and putting it in there, the menu items that the manual says should appear didn't - so this is probably some kind of obscure option - anyone have the built in phone? or am I using it wrong?

 

have you tried inserting the SIM in different ways?

 

I think that's an SD slot is for music content isnt it?

 

If the car is ordered w/OPT666(phone module) that slot is active. If not the car uses Bluetooth.

so, I guess that was what I expected, there is a mysterious phone option that I don't have - I wonder - does anyone in the USA actually have that option? I can see great advantage in having a phone with an antenna
