Default anyone order whells painted to match exterior?

I have just ordered a 991 cabriolet S in white/blue/blue and wonder if anyone has pictures of a 991 with wheels painted to match the exterior. I see a lot of black and platinum examples but no colors.
Anyone get the sport design package in a white cab S?

Doc: Here is a photo of a 991S with wheels painted to match the exterior color (Racing Yellow). And another of a 991 Cab with wheels matching its 'Agate Grey' exterior.

We have heard that this option was temporarily suspended while PAG was working out some issues with quality control and visual 'perception'. These wheels are not painted at the factory in Zuffenhausen but by sub-contractors that are out-sourced. They are only matched to the car at time of assembly. The problem seems to be that the extra heavy layers of 'clear' coats required on the wheels (to protect from the harsh elements) are causing the appearance of mismatched color vis a vis the exterior color on the chassis. The heavy clear coat is distorting the base color underneath! This mismatched look was noticed by the owners of this 'Racing Yellow' 991S and PCNA is currently trying to see what they can do to 'fix' the problem for these customers.

Hopefully, PAG has sorted all of this now at production. If not, I think they might not allow certain colors (e.g. especially lighter colors like 'Racing Yellow') to be ordered on Porsche wheels! Let us know if they have allowed your order for this option to go through on your 'White' 991S!

Saludos,
Eduardo

Thanks! I appreciate the information. My dealer is telling me it may be up to a 4 month delay for the painted wheels but that I can order them if the delay is acceptable. We have decided to order without the paint matched wheels because I think the white cab/blue top with the sport design package will be "gorgeous enough " for me.
I can't wait to see this car!!

That is a wise move. I would have done the same. Good luck!
