Interesting post!
How?!?!?! How do you manage to own a new 911 and sell it for what (or nearly) what you paid for it? Is it simply that you negotiated a great deal up-front without a bunch of silly options, and then were able to sell it private party at above retail, or is there some other trick? I ask because even though I do a fairly good job negotiating, depreciation always catches up with me and beats the crap out of me.![order](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/order.gif)
I just bought a 2012 Pano S - new - and know I'll be losing my *** on it in a couple of years when it's time to move on.![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
Regards,
Michael

the dealer that bought mine is asking 10k over sticker!.. just because nobody else has a 991 under 100k anywhere.

My local dealer has a low option 2013 MT for $95,300 before "best price." I believe it had a $91,300 sales tag on it this past weekend. There are a few out there under $100. Only one he has under 6 figures.

Traded my bare bones 12' base M/T in white for a 13' base in Platinum silver, fully loaded, PDK. the one in my avatar.
I got tired of rowing gears in traffic and just love the platinum color.
Took a big hit in depreciation (26%) but still I am very happy since I am driving what I really want.
Maybe the dealer took advantage since I was all over the new car. I couldnt hold myself, hehe.
Sorry Riley for hijacking your thread, just answering SFO question. Hope to see you back any time soon with a new Porsche and more valuable info.
