Simplified but pretty accurate.

Non of these choices are made with your brain.

I spent last weekend flogging and instructing a Gallardo, 997 Turbo, R8 V10 and F430. By the end of each day the Italians were exhausted while the 997T just ran like a Swiss watch. No additional oil was needed while the Italians went through 1-2 quarts per day. Not to mention that I could get the 997T around the track much quicker than the Lambo or F430. Also, most people chose the Italians for the looks first then ended up loving the way the Porsche drove. Keep in mind it was about 100 degrees and the F430 and Lambo were like ovens inside by mid-afternoon. I hope to be in a 458 this weekend or next and I look forward to seeing the improvements but I would bet that my money will stay with Porsche.

Honey, I am going to buy a Porsche it's not smart to buy a Ferrari or Lambo.

LOL.

My GF does not get to vote and comments at her own risk.

A good buddy of mine that went from a 993 to a F355 once described the difference very beautifully by saying that going from a Porsche to a Ferrari was like going from dating a hot but nice girl to dating a supermodel that is constantly in rehab...

Unless you think it takes skill to select the upshift lever.
