Default 991 TPMS sensor Part number..

Hi all,

I've ordered my 991S, it should be arriving by early November..

Since I live in PA, by that time, a set of winter wheels will be needed soon..

So, I've been looking for a set of cheap winter wheels.

The question I have here is TPMS. I would like to have my winter wheels with TPMS sensors installed.

I did some looking around, there aren't many info on line related to the 2013 991's TPMS sensor.

So, here's what I found, per Porsche PET, the TMPS sensor's P/N of 2013 991 is 7PP 907 275 B (433Mhz). It could also be 7PP 907 275 C (315Mhz), I doubt this will be the case...
There's no way of confirming this yet, since I don't have a my car's VIN available. However, I think it should be safe to rule out the 315Mhz sensor.

While doing some research online, I found that:
7PP 907 275 B = 997 606 021 20 = HUF BERU RDE010

Is the above true?
Does Porsche normally assign 2 or more part numbers for the same vendor's part?

Thanks in advance for reading and helping..

Cheers.

433 mhz is correct, the 2120 is a Beru, not Porsche part number.

Thanks.
However, although Porsche does not manufacture TMPS sensors, they've assigned Porsche part numbers to Beru TMPS sensors used.

Per Porsche PET of 2013 991 from my local dealership, the 433 mHz sensor's part number is 7PP 907 275 B.
I would like a confirmation of the 7PP 907 275 B is equivalent to 997 606 021 20 and Beru RDE010.

Cheers

There are places online for $172 a set +$5 shipping.

i.e.:

TPMS sensors aren't high tech equipment, so anything that meet or superceeds the OEM's specs will do.
Price is besides the point at the moment. My question is interchangeability related.

At this point, I would just like to find out the interchangeability / equivalency of all the part numbers quoted in the OP.

...I noticed that Porsche does not have nearly enough tech info online like BMW...
So, if anyone knows and would like to share that info, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi all,
I didn't hear back from anyone for a while..
Considering the 991 is relatively new and there aren't a lot publication out from Porsche yet, this is normal.. (I could only find the PET upto 997-2..)
I was just wondering, has anyone installed 997 wheels with TPMS onto a 991 and the TPMS worked?

That would answer a lot of questions..
Since:
the TPMS Porsche P/N for 991 is 7PP 907 275 B
the TPMS Porsche P/N for 997-2 is 997 606 021 20

The interesting part is, I found the corresponding transmitters for both TPMS sensor P/Ns share the same Porsche P/N of 7PP 907 283.

Does this mean Porsche P/N 7PP 907 275 B and 997 606 021 20 are the same? Or to be precise, both sensors can be read by the same transmitter, does this mean both sensor will work for the 991?

Cheers.
