Default Interesting Review Summary of 991 Cab

Read an interesting review in US News New Car Rankings under Luxury Convertibles. It rates the new 911 Carrera Convertible as #5 on the list just below the 2012 Infiniti G and MB E-class. They claim their data is based on review summaries of most auto magazine professional reviews. Interesting result that I think will be difficult to defend?

Well, considering they show a picture of an Infinity G 4 door sedan and an MB Coupe in what they call a ranking of convertables, what is the point of bothering to defend or criticize, beyond noting the total incompetance of the author and editor, and inferiority of US News as a source of automobile information?

It's impossible to objectively rank subjectively different items. (Did that make sense?). It's like saying I like chocolate chip ice cream better than cashmere sweaters.

What is interesting is that the Corvette (in its class) and Boxter (below its class) were ranked 1 and 2 respectively.

They did put these cars in the same category. Perhaps that was their mistake. Its clear that some of their rating categories are very subjective (i.e exterior & interior stuff) but performance is performance and should be an ordinal scale ranked across all cars

theres no way the Infiniti should be on that list. Its overweight, the engine is unbalanced, and the interior is crap.
The E class, well, handles like a truck and is BORING to drive.

No way these 2 cars are > 991.
