Spoureza, I like the wind so much I got the cab, but had I went for the coupe I definitely would have gotten the sunroof. Better to have it and only open it occaisionally (or a lot) than to not have the option. I'm assuming when closed it does not provide headroom or noise issues?

Mine also rattles. Assume it's an easy dealer fix. Other than that, i find it to be much better than the 997. The wind is gentle with much less noise. A big improvement. Although, the screen gets dirty and needs to be vacuumed.

opted out of sunroof for the first time in a 911- preferred to deflect cost to the painted wheels, I didnt like the design look and would have accepted a 997 type roof only at no cost- though I would now appreciate the tip up for buffeting reduction

I guess the bad buffetting with one window fully down (and nothing else open) is due to the improved overall aerodynamics of the door mounted mirrors. The corner mount may generate some noise but must also disrupt the flow such that no buffetting occurs.

Ordered mine with the glass sunroof and there is no way I will get one without it. The fact that it makes the interior brighter and roomier is reason enough to get it. Another 3 weeks before mine arrives.........
