Default 3M Film -- taking it off / 100% reversible?

I will install some 3M film on the door sills, behind where the instep ends.

But before I do -- I would like to make sure that it comes off 100% and no removal issues, at some point in the future?

Place for film may be odd, but I think this pic explains it all:

With one exception I have never heard of any problems with removal of a clear bra on factory paint. A car that has been resprayed can potentially be damaged by clear bra removal and it seems to be a common issue if the paint isn't fully cured.

You are one brave guy to let your dog ride in it! On a related matter, how will he stick his head out the window sitting all the way back there?

Thx guys. Since I will eventually remove the stuff I just wanted to hear from some experienced folks before applying.

packwest -- dog digs the AC, too.

Not sure if you are still looking but you might consider Road Warrior Plus paint protection if you are looking for an on / off application (no affiliation by me). I use it for track days. Not sure how it would hold up to dog claws.

Here is their link: http://www.roadwarriorplus.com/index.html

Interesting. So you use this literally for one track day and then remove?

Even if it does not do dog claws, it would come in handy for track, since I do not have any other areas film:ed.

As long as it is applied to oem paint, you will not have a problem removing the film. Good luck!

Yes. Here is some added traffic on the product from another thread. I just do front bumper and frunk plus rear sides/stone guards. Proper installation is the key (ie heat and curing).
