I had Speed Film applied on my 991s yesterday. It is almost invisible. I am driving from Atlanta to Orlando and back this week wanted to film to protect from rock-chips on the 1000+ mile road trip. They have application centers all over the USA. www.speedfilm.net

Did you have the entire front hood done also or only the front bumper area?

I went with the complete package which includes the entire front end. I just got back from a 1100 round trip from Atlanta to Orlando and back last night and I could not find a single rock chip this morning. So, the film seems to have done its job.

I just looked at a 911 turbo yesterday where the film was installed half way up the fenders and hood and you see a line across the hood where the film stops, did not like that. How much did it cost you to do the whole front end?

Speedfilm in Roswell. And, yes, I still have my old BB512i and drive it a couple times per month on average.
