New Order ... Now The Wait ...
It's been a few years since I sold my last 911 (this was an '05 997; in the last few years I have gone through an M6 and a Shelby GT500 to try to fill my Porsche void) - my compromise with my wife was to jump back into the Porsche world with a Panamera GTS. However, after visiting our local dealer a few times to settle on options and colors, the pull of the new 991 was too great (my new compromise was that I could not complain if the kids made a - reasonably cleanable - mess in the back seat!)
Here's what I ordered ...
Anthracite Brown
Espresso Natural Leather
PDK
Sport Exhaust
Sport Chrono
Deletion of Model Designation
SportDesign Steering Wheel
Center Console Trim Aluminum
Aluminum Brushed Interior Package
Model Logo on Center Console
Porsche Crest on Headrests
Center Tunnel Rear In Leather

Sticker $132,625. Negotiated a 4% discount; this was with a new dealer (I had moved since my 997 purchase), so I didn't have an existing relationship with any in my area.
I know a few of the items are extremely superfluous (e.g., center tunnel in leather, but apparently this is the only way to get the stitching on the center storage lid); this will be my 3rd 911, second ordered to build, and my lesson learned is to get everything I could possibly want up front.
Now the long Summer wait ...
