my ideal color combo would be Black Metallic with a two toned Black and tan interior. This color combo was available in the past, seems to not be now though. Any idea how much Porsche would charge to do that for me? How about switching out just the seats for tan covered seats instead of black in an all black interior?

This is interesting. When I ordered my 991 I wanted a Black / Beige like you could get in the 997. Not being available I got Agate / Pebble and love it. The week before my car arrived I was at the dealership and the new paint and leather sample pack can in. As we unpacked it there was a sample of a Black / Beige (with beige contrasting stitching) that was labeed for 911. Nobody can find it on a standard order sheet, but I bet a phone call will get it for you at the full leather pricing.

If I weren't waiting for a Guards Red order to arrive, I'd have tried to spec black upper with red lower and red seats. Obviously not a good match for red exterior though.

Very interesting, I was out at my dealer a few weeks ago looking at paint and interior color samples trying to come to a conclusion, that was not one of them. I should check back.

The dealer can connect you with a PCNA specialist that has access to things the dealers don't. I dealt with one in NY and she was terrific.

this is exactly what you do.... like i said above. spend plenty of time going over the details tho.

ive seen a red interior car with black inserts on doors and seats and looked great... also had black carpets.

ive also seen a cab with black accents..

it's a woman that works for PCNA in NY that sets everything up, and she's gorgeous.. ill have to find her name. lol

Default Porsche Exclusive

There are now two persons presently in the US with the task to promote 'Porsche Exclusive' with the P dealer network and also assist individuals who want to custom order their Porsches. The team is headed by Sascha Glaeser, who has been transferred from Zuffenhausen to Los Angeles. He was part of the 'Porsche Exclusive' department in Germany and is very knowledgeable. He is assisted in the US by the lovely Melissa Witek, who is based in New York.

Sasha was very helpful with my custom ordered MY2012 Spyder. 'Porsche Exclusive' has one of the most extensive interior customizing program in the auto industry. There is nothing like this available from Mercedes or BMW. Audi has a similar program (Audi Exclusive) but it's very limited. The custom ordering process, however, is very complicated and requires extensive study to understand all the options available and choose the correct ones for your car. Many of the 'Porsche Exclusive' options are NOT listed in the 'configurator' and even on the 'order guides' at the dealer's PCNA computer ordering system. To make matters worse, most sales folks at P dealers are clueless about all the possibilities available on a custom Porsche order. But if you have time, patience and the money, a customized interior is the best way to go!

In a 'Tale of a Custom Order' over at the 987 Forum, I described all the steps I took to educate myself and insure that I had a fully customized interior on my '12 Spyder. It might be a interesting read to some of you curious to know how 'Porsche Exclusive' actually works:

i really wish i would have done more with the last 3 porsches i've order in the past year...

then again, i go crazy w/ the config.. i can only imagine what other options are out there..

so from what i gather, you can get a list from dealer that shows some options not available on the config, how would one go about getting a more extensive list from porsche exclusive?
