Default Cabriolet top color

So i am set for the color of the car: white exterior, with beige interior. I am mot sure about the color of the top. I am thinking about brown to go with the beige interior? Yet i have not seen one 991 with a brown top. I did see a white with black top on youtube.

Trying to get an luxurious look rather than sporty. Any thoughts?

Brown. Definitely the look you want. Black will be soooo common.

I would go brown just with expresso interior.
The black top is more neutral, looks classic and elegant imo.

Brown seems OK but black is timeless, There are only two colors I'd put with white.......... black or blue.

I'd only go brown with expression interior.

Good Luck!

White with red top and interior looks great too.

Black. I would get a blue top at a stretch. Red or brown may look nice to some at the start, but they don't age well.

Never been a big fan of off color vert tops, or off color dashes for that matter. Black for both.

I don't know if this helps very much, but here is a brown top on my former silver Boxster S. I had a cocoa interior in the car and really like the combination.

Definitely go with the brown top. Much more distinctive than just going with a black top. But please post pics once you take delivery!!!

I have never owned a Porsche. Have a Cab S 911 on order. I'm also a designer for what thats worth? Porsche exterior colors are great but the leather interior options are IMO horrible! As to your top your thinking is good but you MUST see in person to know if it works for you.

It depends upon how long you plan to keep the car. If you're leasing it for a couple of three years just do the brown. If you are keeping the car for more than 5 years go with black because it's a lot easier to maintain and ultimately to replace down the road.

Brown top with the natural brown leather in the 997 was an awesome combination. The expresso is fine, but the natural brown had a lot more character and was a better color.
