My freeze date a week from tomorrow on September 5th is four weeks before the suggested build date on Friday, October 3rd. Do they build cars seven days a week?

omg!!! I'm almost finished my C4S Cab build around $155k. Thankfully there's someone crazier than I am!!

But here I go again . . . I spent time yesterday with my dealer and am near a final config. I worked with him on his config system and never saw an option for deviated stitching with the Dashboard Trim in Leather option. I've only seen "deviating" stitching with that option on two-tone interiors. Do you know the code and cost for it?

btw Jonathan - it's and incredible build. I know the time it takes to figure all of that out.

I stopped at the Fresno dealership today on a trip up to the airport and had them print out an update on my order. The previous report had my car moved from 10/03 start of production to 10/09 but got moved back and actually started production on 9/29. It will be on the Auriga Leader scheduled to leave Emden for San Diego on 10/24. The past few ships have made the trip to San Diego in 25-26 days so I could have my car by Thanksgiving . . . if it moves through the San Diego dock as quickly as the last shipment which were released in only three days.
So my car entered production two days ago . . . uh, do I have any concerns being assembled the first week of Oktoberfest?!!

My order is in preproduction V210 (freeze point reached). This was quite a surprise as my original freeze date was 30 Oct. I called the SA a few days ago and he said Porche had moved up the date. I'm getting excited!!!

You are in the wrong thread for that question:

Hope you found the answer regardless and good luck!

My Carrera S arrived at the dock at Emden on 10/07/14 only one day after completion and two days before the Hestia Leader sailed for San Diego. Not sure if it got loaded, the new printout from my dealer today is showing it leaving Emden on 10/17, however the next ship showing on the Volkswagen Logistics on the PWL website leaving for San Diego is on 10/24. Maybe they are getting too many cars backed up on the dock and are adding an additional ship to San Diego on 10/17?
