I will not be making any modifications to my order. After driving a 911 for the past 43 years I am fairly familiar with the options available. At $124,460.00 list I am satisfied I have the order the way I want it.
Having spent a couple of years since the introduction of the 991 in February 2012 musing an order, yet having owned a 1965 first year 911 and a 1974 first year 2.7 911 . . . I was hesitant to buy a "new generation" model 911 until a few years of warranty claims has shown the glitches from customer field testing. I spent the past two years with the Porsche website configurator reviewing the various options and visiting dealerships, plus lurkiing on this helpful forum. The only option I ended up erasing was the further 10mm lowering of the "Sport" PASM that further stiffens the springs and anti-roll bars . . . but did order the Sport Chrono and the PDCC to go along with the PASM that comes standard on the Carrera S. I have never autocrossed or tracked my cars and we have pretty crappy roads here in the Central Valley of California. I do not really want to give up a relatively smooth highway ride or have to cross parking lot speed bumps at an angle.
Of course as an aging teenager I had to have the PSE button.

Wow!
Pete - 43 years! That's amazing. We have been patiently (well not so patiently) waiting for our first Porsche - a C4S cab. We ordered in April and should be delivered in about 10 days! We are really looking forward to it. . and it will be a stablemate of a 2015 Mercedes S65 (which arrived 3 weeks ago!)
Along the way - look forward to getting your insights about the car and how to take advantage of all that it can do!
Cheers
Jack

I'm hoping the car is done now (I try to only bug the dealer once a week, if that...), will hit the port inside a week from now, make the port of Houston by August 13th, and that I can pick it up in Dallas by August 20th. We'll see...

Drove it home yesterday - she's a beauty! Park Place Porsche and Keith Beitter were very good to deal with throughout the process.

Posting your window sticker helped. I have steering column casing in leather with the Espresso/Cognac interior on my (never ending) order. I assumed that comes with deviated stitching in the two tone interior, but will have the dealer double check.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Jonathan:
Beautiful!
You are right...it doesn't look like a Buick's interior anymore!
It's probably due to all of that wonderful deviating stitching
and the several 'Blue' bulls that gave their all for this interior!
